I read at another forum that the season sets 5 through 7 have DVNR on some episodes. Does anybody know if this is true? If so, which episodes? I have watched season 5 and haven't noticed anything.

According to Google, it stands for Digital Video Noise Reduction.

I seriously doubt any of the episodes have any DVNR processing done to them. They definitely have been all through noise redcution filters, but not anything like the DVNR that some studios screw up their DVD cartoon releases with.

I was on a site that was reviewing Season Six R2 release, and they said that DVNR was used on that set, and something happened when doing the R2 release and it caused camera pans to lose frames, and caused some of the black outline of a person to vanish. Then it cleared up saying the R1 release more than likely isn't as bad, even though its been through the DVNR process. Season 7 has too.
