NHC Bumper Sticker

I don't know if this exists yet, but on the way to work this morning I was thinking how nice it would be to be able to display my pride in being a Simpsons fan. And where better than to do that than to slap a bumper sticker on the rear of my car!

I know I might not post here regularly and only wish to attain the level of nerdom that many of you have (trust me, I'm being serious), but what better way to display your true colors than with the logo of probably the best Simpsons fan site on the net? I'm talking about the No Homers Club!!

The existing logo is simple and would look great on either an oval or round shaped sticker and if done at the right size, wouldn't look too gaudy or out of place.

Besides, I think it would be neat to use the NHC logo because the general public might look at it and think "Hey, there goes someone who doesn't like the Simpsons. They must like Family Guy or something." And that's exactly the type of curve ball we want to throw people, is it not?

So there's the idea. I'd like to see how much interest this generates, if any.

How many of you would plop down $4 American for a wonderful NHC bumper sticker?

Interesting...but this doesn't have anything to do with "The Simpsons". The City Hall is probably the best place for this since it has to do with the board itself (sorta), so I'll ship this over there.

But I know that places like CafePress.com (http://www.cafepress.com/) can produce them rather easily - but not sure of the quality. You basically send them your logo and they put it on a coffee mug or bumper sticker or whatever. Fairly cheap too.

Yeah, I'd definitely buy one. That "no" sign with Homer's head really would make a great round sticker to plaster all over the place when you think about it.

I'm doubtful that you could sell something with an actual Simpsons image on it because it's probably copyrighted. I think the best you could do is have "No Homers Club" in text. It's a good idea though.

i've seen plenty of people with simpsons related stuff on their cars. i've seen a entire van covered with perfectly drawn pictures of the characters.

these stickers should be free, if you don't want to risk getting involved with legal issues.

I went out and bought some sticker paper at Staples today, now I just have to make a logo that's big enough. I'll post pics when it's done

Came out pretty good I think. I made a sticker for my site too as you can see. If anybody else wants to use the NHC logo, let me know, I'll give you the image I used.

I think it would look better if "NHC" was all in caps. It should say "nohomers.net" in small print at the bottom.

my apple sticker is on my calculator... a friend of mine put his on a hardback copy and calls it an iBook. heh.

grissom, could you post the design please? i plan on getting sticker paper soon.

EDIT: also, is there some printing software you use? every time i try to print a picture it comes out either pixelated, i.e. too big, or smaller than i wanted it. plus, i'd like to print numerous designs on the same page.

did you have to use a whole page for the sticker, or were you able to put some more pictures on the same page?

Yeah, you can use the rest of the paper once you cut that section out as long as you put it in the printer the right way
