Ok, this is gonna be a little tiny (well, sorta) site, that can warp you into simpsons sites, but you can also see their old designs. for example, tsh, and you can view some of the pages or images of the old designs. like the idea? I was viewing this

I'm not sure what you mean. Do you mean an archive of old Simpsons site design? Folder already has something like that, for the 'classic' sites anyway.

i have all those "missing" sites waiting on my hd. all i need is time and huge update for linkup page.

funny, how this same subject pops up alive year after year.

the only thing i'd love to see done is actual revival of those old sites using archive.org. i mean, when i brought back nate's legitimate businessman's social club website for archival purposes i got all the files from archive.org . gave me an idea to look up sites like simpsons surplus and i can't believe it's a simpsons site to see if there was enough material to keep an archived version of the whole site back online (with owners permission of course), but archive.org simply didn't have enough material backed up.

yeah this would be very difficult, since archive.org doesn't get all the images. Also not every site is in there.

yea but like for btl, the image links dont work. why isnt there an archiver that does it right?

yeah, i know. but opening some old sites won't change anything. it's like chewing gum. you throw it away after you have use it.

just an idea! maybe we should all quit making websites dedicated to the way simpsons sites used to be and make a simpsons site the way they used to be

I totally agree on the nostalgia of it, don't be put off, but a great new site would be even better.
