Hey, does anyone know whatever happened to those old Cartoon Network shows? The ones like;
The Mask
Cow & Chicken
I Am Weasel
Space Ghost Coast to Coast
Whatever Happened to Robot Jones?
Did they just get rid of them because of new shows or because they were getting old. I mean, they still show Cow & Chicken at midnight, but the rest they haven't shown in 2-4 years. Does anyone know why they were taken off the channel? They have crap shows on there now like the following;
Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends
Atomic Betty
Camp Lazlo
Codename: Kids Next Door
And one more thing, why on earth did they get rid of the above shows but DIDN'T get rid of shows like;
Ed, Edd & Eddy
Dexter's Laboratory
The Powerpuff Girls
Those shows have been on there for years! So can anyone answer my question?

They don't show much of Dexter's Lab or Powerpuff Girls anymore, outside that worthless Top 5 Show.
Those, along with Courage, Cow & Chicken, Robot Jones, and Johnny Bravo were recently shown in a newer version of The Cartoon Cartoon Show, which was apparently reserved for the dead series.

Were they? But do you know why they got rid of them in the first place?

What's adultswim?
A bunch of "adult" cartoons (Family Guy, Futurama, Aqua Teen Hunger Force) that air late night on Cartoon Network

Some of those shows were moved to CN's spin-off channel "Boomerang" ...which my cable company doesn't caries.
Here in the states were not allowed to select what channels we want. The Big cable company's do. They call it Packaging :angry:

Hey, does anyone know whatever happened to those old Cartoon Network shows? The ones like;
The kids that used to watch them got older. Simple as that.
And one more thing, why on earth did they get rid of the above shows but DIDN'T get rid of shows like;
Ed, Edd & Eddy
Dexter's Laboratory
The Powerpuff Girls
Those shows have been on there for years! So can anyone answer my question?
Because they're still popular and get good ratings? And they (so far) haven't dated in the way a lot of kids shows do.

They have crap shows on there now like the following;
Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends
Come on, Cartoon Network has tons of incredibly awful shows to pick from, and you mention Foster's?! What's wrong with this world?
Oh, and they don't air PPG and Dexter's Lab anymore. The Eds air because they're still producing new episodes.

Does anyone know if they'll bring those old shows back like The Mask or Space Ghost Coast To Coast?

All the best shows are on Adult Swim. Most of the daytime stuff is practically unwatchable.

I was making a broad generalization. The fact that you called attention to yourself was your own doing.

The Mask wasn't a Cartoon Network show. It was a CBS Saturday morning cartoon. Cartoon Network just got the rights to show it for a while.

i've watched CN all my childhood and some even as a teen, and i have to say;
i think the change of the 'owner' of CN had a huge impact on what was shown!!
you know how it used to be english all along the way, but then the commercials and just about everything else than the actual shows were in norwegian/swedish/danish or something 'cause they bought CN or somethin'..
after the swap i started watching less and less..
sad to see CN is nowadays full of those 'modern' robot-themes and animestyle shows..:/

Anyone watched 2 Stupid Dogs? That was one of my favorites along with a lot that has been mentioned already.

That's a more recent show but I still kinda miss it. As long as I don't need to hear anymore bullshit from BB/Raven shippershits, I'm cool with it being gone and I will just wait for The Judas Contract.

Cartoon Network has a program called the "Cartoon Cartoon Show" and they occasionally show some of their older shows on it.

He do you remember when Cartoon Network was nothing but Hanna Barbara? For like its first quarter year it was Yogi endlessly. I rejoiced when they finally put some fucking Loony Toons on there.

the revamped Dexter sucked, but I was happy to remember that the revamped Johnny Bravo did NOT suck. And in fact was as funny as the first few episodes.
I defy you to find something more absurd than Don knotts, Weird Al Yankovic and the Blue Falcon giving Johnny a makeover.

I used to like Codename: Kids Next Door. I don't anymore, but I ought to agree with you on this one. Cow and Chicken and I am Weasel I liked as a very little kid, and those two shows were classics. There ought to be more threads like this.

I miss the old CN shows. The newer ones aren't so great. I like Foster's, but I miss Johnny Bravo, Dexter's Lab, Powerpuff Girls, and all those.
I was flipping through the channels the other night and I noticed Johnny Bravo and Dexter were on Boomerang.
