I like orange fanta the best. I believe it to be the best flavour, and it's the original.

I heard that Fanta was originally German, and it was a derivative of the word fantastisch, meaning fantastic. I heard that Coke was not to be sold in Germany, due to it's negative American image, so Hitler asked for Fantastisch to be sold in place of it.

Do you if it's true, fantanoice? Either way, welcome.

Hello Rachel, I'm making my first post too. Also, I love Australians, I had a friend who was a foreign exchange student from Sydney. I've seen every episode of "The Simpsons" (and "South Park", "Futurama", "Arrested Development", and others), sp keep on posting and I'll keep responding.

Fanta's my favorite soda. Ever. I was thrilled when it started showing up in the US a few years back (and as I understand it, it was available here years ago, too), but was totally disappointed to find that the recipe was absolute garbage compared to the nectar I'd first discovered in Spain. Seriously, it was just plain old orange soda. Then I tried US grape, and it was just grape soda. The only decent US version was the red tangerine, and that was only available for like, half a day. Or...no, wait. My friend brought me back a few bottles of pineapple from his trip to Georgia, and those were pretty good.

Nothing'll ever beat good ol' limón y naranja, though.

Oh yeah, and welcome.
