Awsome list
59 & 63 both say Robin Hood, ...are these Different? You should (---) bracket a studio name beside one or both to tell them apart

You haven't seen Howl's Moving Castle yet? I noticed you have a LOT of Japanimation
films (I would have ranked 'Totoro' higher-saw it last week on CN, and loved it!)

Howl's was good but it's the weakest Miyzakai movie in my opinion!

Where is Lion King???
Other than that, at the moment, I think it's a pretty good list.

No Lion King? That'd be my first choice.

Well "Akira" in my opinion is the greatest animated movie ever! why no "Lion King" you ask? cause it's a balant overrated and highly worshipped rip-off of the classic anime "Kimba The White Lion", it's not the omega and alpha of disney sorry to burst your bubble! there's plenty of better disney movies like " Aladdin", "Emperor's New Groove", etc.

alright fair enough, Alladin and the Emperor's New Groove are pretty good movies
But your list implies Beavis and Butt-head do America is better than the Lion King. That just doesn't seem right

The absense of Lady and the Tramp is the real question here.

No idea why you'd put Antz so high (at least not higher than A Bug's Life...).
Also, South Park should be higher imo. I haven't seen a fair few of those movies, but it looks like a pretty good list generally.

If you like anime, you should check out "Lupin the Third". I generally think Japanimation is lame and indistinguishable, but I thoroughly enjoyed this film. My friend forced me to give it a chance, and I'm glad I did.

Considering what he thinks of the Lion King, it makes sense.

Good call on Pink Floyd 'the wall' and 'Alice in wonderland'. Both hugely original pieces.

Hell even "Mulan" and "Beauty and The Beast" are better then "Lion King", i'd advise you to seek out the original and true "Lion King" known only as "Kimba The White Lion", rent that and you'll be suprised by it.

Who gives a crap about the original and the similarities, the simple fact is that The Lion King is in all regards, far far better than most of the movies on your list.

Quoted for truth. Even if The Lion King did borrow from Kimba (which is debatable, the story has always felt way more like Hamlet to me), it doesn't change the fact that it's an amazing movie. The music is phenomenal (not just the songs, but the background music), the animation is outstanding, the humor always hits its mark, and the movie is chock full of an obscene amount of symbolism. It's my favorite movie of all time, and I can't see how someone could prefer a tacky, shallow, culture gag-fest like Shrek 2 to it.

To the best of my knowledge, "The Lion King" wasn't a "rip off" of "Kimba"; rather, it was a tribute that Disney, as a company, decided not to aknolwedge as such close to release. There's a page out there somewhere that explains that the creators intended it as a loving tribute to "Kimba" because it had been so inspirational to them, but Disney itself tried to pass it off as original and hushed the creators, which is what led to all the controversy over it.

This is the most awful list I have ever seen. Since you like Akira more then Princess Monoke I can already tell you're an idiot. Since you put the Emporer's New Groove before Grave of the Fireflies you wish you were child. Since you have a Bug's Life before Shrek you have no class. And since you have Aristocats BEFORE The Great Mouse Detective you sir are the most horrible human being on earth since the gay-butt child of Charles Manson and Adolf Hitler concieved the Anti-christ in the form of Hilary Clinton.

It's not that bad... I don't agree with the list, but I don't think he is a horrible person the way you do.

Mines, in not particular order:
1-The Three Caballeros
2-Dumbo
3-Make Mine Music
4-Who Framed Roger Rabbitt
5-Fantasia
6-The Iron Giant
7-Lilo And Stitch
8-Aladdin
9-Emperor's New Groove
10-Cats Don't Dance
11-Beavis and Butthead Do America
12-South Park, Bigger, Longer and Uncut
13-Saludos, Amigos
14-Song From The South
15-Peter Pan
16-Monsters Inc
17-Toy Story
18-A Goofy Movie
19-A Bug's Life
20-The Nightmare Before Christmas
21-The Incredibles
22-The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr Toad (I am not sure if this was the title)
23-The Bugs Bunny and Road Runner Movie (it's not a real movie, but I love it)
24-Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs
25-The Great Mouse Detective
26-Alice In Wonderland
27-Bakshi's Lord Of The Rings (not the biggest fan of it, otr the books, but I actually think this movie had more imagination that Peter Jackson's version, though it was very bad explained in therms of plot)
28-The Twelve Tasks Of Asterix
29-Snoopy Come Home
30-The Jungle Book (I loved it as a kid, though I don't feel like watch it again)
31-Robin Hood (it has funny characters and story, no matter how lousy the animation was)
32-101 Dalmatians
33-Wallace And Gromit: Curse Of The WereRabbitt
34-Spongebob Squarepants: The Movie
Uf, it's getting too hard to find more animated movies that I actually think they're near to perfection (it would be a lot easier with animation SHORTS)...I'll probably add more later. Yes, not Lion King either...for now, if I want to make it to 63 I think I would include it. Remember this is not the right order of preferences.
