Will it be good or a disapointment like wind waker (my opinion)?

this has been delayed nearly as long as chinese democracy..

but the answer is no..the look & feel is realistic again & not like a cartoon

if you honestly thought windwaker was a disappointment I call you a fool. opinion is clearly wrong about the last title.

If TP is as good as Wind Waker, I'm going to be more than happy.

But there's no possible way this game's going to disappoint. They're really going all-out with TP, ensuring that it'll be nothing less than fantastic. I've read interviews about it for months, and everything's shaping up to be amazing. The team's mantra is "Better than Ocarina," which is a lofty goal to strive for (but possible).

Besides, I also played it at E3, where it was phenomenal. So no worries.

Ive played all the zelda games and wind waker was boring. just go around in a boat finding triforce piece after triforce piece. best part was the in hyrul castle.

I'm expecting big things from Twilight Princess - all Zelda games have been brilliant - but this has gone back to realistic animation and it'll be by far the best visually yet. Hopefully, the actual gameplay will live up to its predecessors - if so, this will be a fantastic game.

It's guarenteed to be good since it's a Zelda title, but I just don't see it, or any other game, beating Ocarina Of Time. Regardless, it looks bad ass.

i agree with DAn about windwaker. that game was incredibly fun and i actually grew to like the animation.

that said, i hope TP will be even better, but i can't see it being better than OoT. that's my favorite video game ever made.

If its half as good as Wind Waker it'll still be a good game.

But as others have said, I'm sure it will be great.

I was never a big fan of the Zelda series. The first game i played was "Wind Waker" and i enjoyed that. I've read a lot about this game though, and its been a long time in the making, so i seriously doubt that this game will disappoint any Zelda fan.

Am I the only one who thought the cell shading in wind waker was great? I'd rather have a smooth cell shaded game then a pixelated 3d game.

I can appreciate both styles...however can you imagine playing wind waker any other way than cel shaded? I know I can't.

I agree - I think the cel-shading was brilliant and worked really well in Wind Waker. It was certainly a risk to take, but made the game great fun to play and added an extra depth of character rather than the stony-faced Link in previous Zelda's. It also gave an extra edge to the atmosphere (black and white sequence in the Castle), improving the game overall. I can't understand the people who dismiss this excellent game solely based on the animation style.

I am still happy they are reverting back to a more realistic looking world in Twilight Princess, though, as it should make it a darker game.

The cell shading was amazing, but I still like the realistic feel of Ocarina and Majora.

I, too, loved the cel-shading, and can't see how anyone couldn't. The people that dismissed the game purely on graphics are idiots.

Is this for Gamecube or that new one they're making?

What always made me laugh about WW is that even when people were defending it they sounded like they didn't like the graphics. They'd say, 'But if you look past the graphics it's a great game!' And I'd think, what the hell? The graphics are AMAZING why would you have to 'look past' them. Anyone who looked at that game and thought it looked cartoony and so was rubbish are idiots. WW will age amazingly gracefully; in 10 years I bet Twilight Princess will look as clunky as OOT does now, but WW will still look like a living breathing cartoon. In fact when I think of how good WW looked, and how much personality and charm and life and vibrancy it had, I can't help but cast a critical eye over TP and it's various generic Lord Of The Rings designs and varying shades of brown and grey and green.

This is going to be for Gamecube, and I have high hopes for it. All of the Zelda games that I have played have been excellent.

The sailing aspect of WW is tremendously boring, but the rest of the game is great (so far - I'm about halfway through). I love the graphics, haven't seen the other Zelda games, but can't imagine them with "realistic" rendering.

I've enjoyed every game in the Zelda series, and I'm certain that "Twilight Princess" will not disappoint. The graphics alone make it worth playing. It is supposed to be for GameCube, but I keep hearing that it may be delayed for release on the Revolution. Only time will tell.

Actually, it's sorta both...it's a gamecube game, but people who own Revolution will be able to use special features that are only available if you play it on that (the Rev. is backwards compatable).
