Which set of commentaries did you enjoy the most? From the box sets I have, I most liked season seven's, but the Mirkin ones are close.

3 & 4, I voted for 4. Mike and Al are very entertaining and they do NOT kiss Conan's ass too much on that set.
I voted for Season 3. It probably has the best mix of writers and voice actors out of any of the released DVD sets. I've always found Jean/Reiss to be interesting commentators to listen to, except when they occasionally re-tell stories (like the impossibility of sitting straight up out of bed). Still, they tend to be more entertaining to me. The commentaries for "Homer at the Bat," "Bart's Friend Falls in Love," and "Lisa the Greek" are pretty friggin' hilarious. I swear the writers were a little high when doing the Season 3 commentaries.
Mike Reiss: "The closest I've ever been to falling in love with a man was Steve Sax..."

Either season four, or seven. I voted seven.
Season 7 -- it always cracks me up listening to Bill and Josh make fun of Another Simpsons Clip Show

Season 6. It had the most voice actors on its commentaries. Those are the ones I like.

season 5, it had some great al and mike commentaries. but it was also the introduction of David Mirkin who is just funny all the time. Then you hear the commentaries for the 10th time and you start to hate him. which is fine, because matt says david mirkin is like this ALL THE TIME

Season 6 probably in third.

^Yeah, Mirkin stopped pointing out the obvious so much there as he did in 5. This let his fantastic enthusiasm shine through.

3 and 4 (voted 3). Both had lots of info tidbits, plus they were mostly funny (especially the ones with Conan and Lovitz).

3 & 4, (voted 4), I dunno why, I always laugh during them, I like Al Jean in the commentaires, he's funny and also very informative, Mike Reiss's secret commentaries on S3 were good too.

Seasons 4 and 6 had consistently great ones. Fives were okay, three's were great, but not up to the standards of the top two. One's had some neat info, as did two's. Seven's had a great mix of info and entertainment. The opening of "Radioactive Man"'s commentary might be my favorite one yet, as it starts off fun and keeps that pace going.

I don't know which was the best but I know which specific ones are the worst. And those are the ones where way too many people are commentating and where you hear Mirkin, Jean or Groening and co. laughing and not sticking to the trivia, techniques, joke origins, technical features and other details. It's pointless to listen to any more than about 3 people. If you get 5 or 6 people all talking over the top of each other and generally going on and on about nothing...then it's a very frustrating experience. At times I don't feel they come over as decent people.

I voted for Five because I like the mix of Mirkin and Al & Mike. Season Four has some great stuff from Lovitz and Conan though. I wish Hank would (or could) do more commentaries.

5 and 6 were the best by far, I gave it to 5 though because of all the guest voices.
