Homer The Drunk
Homer's drinking becomes a major problem when he, in a drunken haze, eats all Bart's comic books, Marge's kitchen cleaning supplies and Lisa's saxophone reed. He goes to the church for treatment, but Reverend Lovejoy realizes that Homer needs in patient treatment, he drives him to a place called drunken jerk rehab center. Homer soon finds out he loves the place, as it's run by people that let him do basically anything but drink. When the month is up and he's sober, he doesn't want to go home, he is offered a job as a counselor there, that pays more than double his job at the nuclear power plant. He decides to take it, against his family's wishes. Homer soon finds out that helping people is not as fun as goofing off, he quits and returns to Springfield and vows never to drink again. However he discovers duff chewable beer tablets, and by the end is just mixing them up in water.
