Meh. Although Adam West is always funny. Noid bit was hillarious.

Best parts were Kermit, Stewie's face when calling Meg "pretty," and the animals appearing in the UV light.

3/5, it was just alright.

I don't know...both plots were just okay and I didn't care much for the singing, but some decent gags made up for it. Haha, Uncle Sam's nipples.

BY FAR the worst family guy i've ever seen. there were two mildly funny jokes and that's it. the plot was just stupid. the songs were annoying. 1/5

I have to go with kuumus on this one. The episode was irritating; not impressive at all. The jokes just seemed to try and be outrageous just for the sake of being outrageous.

when in reality they weren't really outrageous at all.

I got agree with Kuumuus and Kamerica, on this one this episode was absolutely terrible. I think is the only new episode so far that actually made me wish that Family Guy had stayed cancelled. Although, the Peter and Lois subplot gave me a few chuckles, as well as Clevland smashing Brian's cab. Other than that, it was a really mediocore episode. D+

So.. who actually likes the vaudeville guy?

i thought the vaudville guy was kind of funny the first time, but nowhere near funny enough to become a recurring character.

last night's episode was flatlining from the beginning. i thought peter and lois' song (not the real song, but the one they thought they played) was pretty much the only funny part. i'm very tired of the "we hate meg" and the "stewie is gay" jokes too. 2/5.

that guy at the grocery store definately sounded like jon benjamin from Home Movies - hopefully he'll continue to voice some characeters

episode sucked though - the show's just gotten plain weird

I like the Vaudeville guys as well, I'm not saying I want to see him every week but I don't enjoy their appearances any less than, say, the evil monkey. And way more than Herbert the old paedophile.

I'm just downloading the episode now so will post my opinion of it later.

I still never understood why it's okay to show a man's nipples (especially in a way they used to make fun of Uncle Sam's), but not a woman's.

The main plot worked much better than the sub-plot. But it's becoming more apparent that Meg has a strange taste in men. Another episode revealed that she was dating the announcer from SuperFriends. And Adam West was doing his best to avoid Meg the last time they met.

The sub-plot had good music, but was just another excuse to make jokes about smoking pot, something the show has done repeatedly in the past year. Also, maybe it's me, but has Lois' voice gotten siller? Weird enough she (de)evolved into a party animal, but her laugh is sounding more and more like a witch's cackle. :uhh:

Also:

When Tom's taking over Channel 5 newcasts, Diane is hosting talent shows.

Brian seems to have an unspoken interest in cars. The fact that he got a job as a car salesman one time may give some clues as to how he was able to acquire his own car somehow.

And even with the few Meg jokes we saw here, it's good that they still manage to do something useful with her.

3.25/5

4/5 - I thought it was pretty good. The plot fell apart by the third act, but the jokes were decent. The songs did suck pretty badly though

It was alright, not as good as the last two but in terms of outright bad episodes it wasn't in the same league as Jungle Love and Patriot Games, as some people seem to be suggesting. The singing was forgettable and there were less memorable cutaways than some other episodes, it's not often they have two plots with similar lengths of screen-time so maybe it's related to that. it was about time they did a Meg episode, I think the last one was 8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter (15 episodes ago).

I think the last Meg episode was the one where she pretended to be lesbian (subplot, maybe?). I could be wrong, though.

The last Meg episode was 8 Simple Rules for Buying My Teenage Daughter. The last time she was used in a sub-plot was Brian Sings & Swings.

Yeah, but I actually liked the last two Meg episodes, unlike this one.

BTW, anyone know why they are releasing such small amounts of episodes on DVD? I actually think they have split up this season (4) onto two volumes so that come season 5 they can have the volume numbers match the season numbers. Sorry if it's in the wrong topic.

4/5. I enjoyed it. Gave me some cheap laughs although the vaudville guy was only funny in Holy Crap my favorite fg episode.

3/5, average episode, nothing very good, nothing very bad.

I have begun to realize how much better the show would be if they dropped or at least cut back on the cut aways, it really is nice to see a scene without any stupid lines like "like the time when..." followed by a half ass reference with a load of err's and umm's in it. Sometimes I just want to watch the characters, who have of later years been reduced to shallow joke vessels, filling the time until yet another cut away appears on the screen to make you groan.

I know people have said that the show was always like this, but I've recently re watched the first 3 seasons and it really wasn't always this bad. There used to be somthing there, I'm not sure what it was, but it was there, and now its gone.

In the first three seasons it was great. Iloved the 80s pop culture. But now its mostly some 80s character or peron just appearing out of nowhere and not even relevent to the story or plot.

I really liked the Noid bit, considering last halloween I went as him and nobody knew who I was, aside from that, pretty mediocre, I give it a C- or C at best

This was definitely one of the WORST Family Guy's ever. And keep in mind that is coming from someone who is a big fan of the show. There was a couple of jokes that I got a chuckle from, and it was just stupid. The plot sucked, full of cheap unfunny sex jokes and loose ends.

It had some funny moments, but nothing gut-bustingly hilarious. The new season seems to be reaching.
