That's a lot better than anything that I could do. Not that that's saying much...

Seriously though, those are quite good.

No wonder everyone hates you. At least I try to maintain perspective when I tear jake a new virtual arsehole. :)

Speaking of perspective, I love the last panel. Just thought I'd throw you a bone there jake. I think you deserve it after all thsi time. ;)

There's no rush, take your time.

I've seen many of your comics before. Your very bold and risk taking with composition and characters' expressions, which is a great thing. A lot of people find that a difficult hurdle to jump.
Once in a while I find the proportions for Maggie's body shape to be inconsistent. Sometimes they look like a strongly built little girl...sometimes it looks like a small sized man with her head on it. But you've been doing that less and less the more you do this so your definitely improving a lot.

I find your pictures of the future generations...in their actual time very interesting. I'd love to see more on that after this time travel adventure. In the mean time I'll look forward to what you'll post next.

Sweet pics! I see Lovejoy's back, among other people. What will the 3rd part be about? I'm very excited to read! What's with Eric and the trenchcoat and shades? Did I miss something? It seems Jessica Is accusing Eric of something. Did I really miss that much? I read every page of the comic! Anyways, I agree with Archonix, You deserve great respect.

Sorry, SS. I have to STRONGLY disagree. I think the glasses are fine. They make me wonder even more about what's going on.

In the second panel of the first set, unlike every other panel, Ireally don't have ANY idea what's going on! Cool. :silly:

He looks like Neo or something, Like Jake did in one of his other fanarts.

Jake,
I’ve been looking at your work a lot lately – it is so nice. It’s not just the great drawings of The Simpsons world, but it’s also the inventiveness that you inject into The Simpsons world. I like it, it’s great.

No, but I'm surprised that he hasn't gotten an acceptance letter to the cartooning team of the Simpsons, though.

No, I'm not THAT good! :-/

I might have 10 times the art ability of someone who's drawn a little, but the actual animators have 1,000,000 times my drawing ability.

lisalover1
05-09-2006, 03:38 PM
Hmmm... I got one of your pictures printed out, held it up to a simpsons picture, and there were quite a few, but very subtle differneces. And plus, an acceptance letter is not that uncommon. A few fanscript writers were about to get put on the writing team, but they, for some reason, turned down the offer. I wonder why...

lisalover1

So, this is what happened after and including the last page of comics? Well, Eric seems like he's really pissing off Jessica, wich is funny, and she can't come up with anything to say in her defense, so she leaves. I just finished a few full-page fanart pics, fully colored, but I can't show them untill June 11.

No, I learned my perspectives from a book called "Learn to Draw 3D." It's probably the best "how to" art book for learning to draw perspectives and basic backgrounds.

Yeah. Bart looks a little more muscular than usual.

I'm trying to get Bart's physique away from Homer's since Bart shouldn't start resembling Homer until he's 30. Anyway, I decided against a beer-bellied Bart because I want him to be a more energetic character, unlike how Homer was in his flashbacks.

However, the real 'roid freak is Milhouse (sorry Future-drama, I had you beat for 2 years).

Anyway Jake, I'm sure its temp, but I have a little nitpick about the dialouge, I dont like Eric's last line, it doesnt really seem like something he'd say. However he's your character and you set his personality how you want...

What's so great about Jake's work from others (including mine...) is that he draws is very neat without any noticable annoying pencil marks.

If I had any objection on your work, it's that Jessica Lovejoy's eye isn't as really similar to how I remember that I've seen in the Simpsons Comics or the animations of 'Bart's Girlfriend'. Otherwise, it's perfection
