What is Your Favorite S1 Futurama Ep.?

I just recently got the season 0ne box set and I hadn't seen Futurama in soooooooo long. What your fav. ep. from this season? Hope this isn't a repeat thread.

Fry and the Slurm Factory. Although I, roomate and A Fishfull of dollars have some great moments. Season one is highly underated. Fry and Benders relationship starts to build and Fry starts to feel like his finally home. Although the other season are better because Futurama got better with every waking year season 1 is still an awesome season.

Well there are certain season 1 episodes I didn't care for that much. Several episodes were nothing more than wacky space adventures and they got boring to watch after awhile , especially those involving a serious "character in danger" climax.

My favorite episodes were those which were more innovative in nature :lampooning cliched sci-fi conventions while adding some social commentary and satire. Which is why my favorite episode of season 1 is When Aliens Attack. Satirising cheesy soap opera conventions while mocking the cliched "human vs. aliens" sci-fi convention makes for an extremely entertaining and hilarious episode.

Probably Love's Labors Lost In Space or Fishful of Dollars. Both brilliant. Although Mars University has really grown on me.

Hell is Other Robots. It's got a really great story and there are some brilliantly funny moments throughout Bender's decline into electricity abuse, his reform and his next decline. The best scenes are in Robot Hell including the excellent musical number about the different levels of suffering Bender will have to endure, plus you've got the ever-wonderful Dan Castellaneta voicing Beelzebot. 5/5 A+

I loved A Flight to Remember. It utilized almost all of the main characters very well, and was one of the first episodes to really delve into Fry and Bender's characters a bit more. Zapp and Kiff are always golden.

I'd have to go with Love Labours Lost in Space. It's hilarious, Zapp Brannigan is always written so well. Runner ups would be Space Pilot 3000, Hell is Other Robots, and The Series has Landed.

I picked Hell is Other Robots, but I really like them all. Space Pilot 3000 is one of the greatest pilot episodes of any show I've ever seen.

Honestly, I wasn't really impressed with this season. I don't think that the show found its legs until the second year. That said, I think 'Space Pilot' is a very solid episode filled laughter, tears and monkeys in space.

A Flight To Remember for sure. It was my favourite episode of all time until "Luck Of The Fry-rish" came along. AFTR is now my 2nd favourite, and definitely the best of S1

I've only seen most of these once but I would go with A Flight To Remember. I recall really enjoying it even though I can barely remember anything from it. Honourable mentions to When Aliens Attack and Hell Is Other Robots

For some reason A Big Piece of Garbage sticks out for me, even though I probably haven't seen some of these.
