TVShowsOnDVD (http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/newsitem.cfm?NewsID=5240) have announced that a "best of" Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends DVD will be coming this year, and a fifth season has been greenlit.

I just wish they'd release season boxsets.

Yeah, I read it on ToonZone. Sweet news, but it's a shame Cartoon Network Video doesn't realize on how well Foster's, Dexter and PPG season sets would sell. Idiots.

Its all about monet if Cartoon Network can sell a $20 DVD with 4v episodes instead of a $40 DVD with 20 episodes they are going to do the best of dvds forever

With the exception of Foster's, Teen Titans, possibly Camp Lazlo, and not including Adult Swim, Cartoon Network has gone to hell.

I'd buy a Season 1 set in a heartbeat, but this will do until then - anything to see the episodes without a big honking CN logo in the corner.

Any word on which episodes will be included on this DVD?

I actually think this is a smart move.

I think they're thinking more about the younger artist then adults/teenagers who want to get the entire season.

If I was six or seven and wanted to get the entire first season of Foster's home on DVD I'd have to do a hell of a lot of crying.

I would rather have a season boxset as well, but this is great news anyway! :thumbsup

That's a really nice price. I guess I'll get this one at least.

Really cool! Too bad it's not coming until February.

I love the cover art and I hope they stick to the same format for the subsequent releases. One thing that bugs me though is that they managed to make room for Cheese, who wasn't even in the show until the second season, and not Mac or the main imaginary friends.

WHAT? IMPOSSIBUBBLE!

Where the hell are seasons of Johnny Bravo, Powerpuff Girls, Dexter's Lab, Megas XLR, Courage, and Grim & Evil/Billy & Mandy?

"Yay" is all I can say. Greatness.

Considering you love the cover art yet you hate the fact that most of the main characters aren't there, I don't know if this is gonna be good or bad news, but: that's not the final cover. Craig's still designing it himself, that's just a temporal one.

That's a good price for a whole season. Looks like they are taking cues from the success of the adult swim season/volume sets, and the samurai jack sets. I'm guessing if this is successful we may start seeing older CN shows getting the season DVD treatment, with the first probably being Dexter or PPG.

Unfortunately the release date has been delayed to March 7. Here's the ever so slightly revised cover art.

If anyone's still interested, the 2nd season will be out on 9/11.

Considering what the network's doing to the show these days, I don't think anyone's surprised. I'll pick it up, though.

This hasn't been a horrible show, in fact I kind of liked it.

Looks nice.

I still need to pick up volume 1. Now that I've gotten so much cash for graduation, I probably will soon.

Above all this other stuff, Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy needs proper season box sets.

It needs them and it'll have them. Billy & Mandy's 1st season set comes out on September 18, just a week after Foster's. And what I've heard about the extras is really, really awesome.

Now all we need is Dexter's Lab. The good one.
