Yeah I gotta go with Super Bowl XXVII. Though it's a close call between XXVII and XXVIII. On the one hand XXVII was a blow out. On the other hand XXVIII was a blow out AND was their fourth super bowl loss in a row.

9 TURNOVERS MOTHERFUCKER

 17 points constitutes a blowout? They were leading at halftime.
voted XXVI, just because I elimanated all the other choices.

can't argue with nine turnovers and a 35-point loss.

Andy

xxv no contest

and yeah, what pat said; i'd kill for the bears to make it 4 in a row, well, then again... yeah. i don't know what i want

Well they really should have won Super Bowl 25. They were the best team on the field that day and if Norwood did what he was paid for then they would have won. But they were just so bad in XXVII and you can't vote for anything else.

Isn't XXVII the one where Thurman Thomas missed the first few plays because he misplaced his helmet? If so, that just makes it even more of a no-brainer. At least Don Beebe was able to keep them within 5 TDs with that play at the end.

it's ALWAYS the time AND the place to cite the faggot-tasticness of anyone who talks positively about the cowboys.

What, necro?!?! What a fag though. Look at that statement. I have spoken to SJM before and he has been a cool dude. It's just this cowboys thing that bothers me..

I'm not a monkey. I root against the Eagles, Cowboys, and whoever gets in front of Eli. If I need to root hard against someone, I do it, but do it with heart. Let's go Eli!!

well if it's any consolation eli is doing a lot better than i thought he would this year, sadly gravy i don't think either of our teams are making it to the big dance anyways

but come on the 90s cowboys did own all, especially those bills

Dead Nigga Storage

well, the dolphins suck NOW for sure, but are still the only undefeated team in NFL history. but curtis wasn't even a l'il butterball back then.

Spartan

I guess 30 years of winning goes out the window that quickly?

Dead Nigga Storage
11-24-2005, 01:58 PM
i never said that, i only said they suck now. and have sucked for a decent amount of the time that curtis has probably liked them. even when he was younger, they were merely a 9-7 or 10-6 team.

Spartan
11-24-2005, 02:02 PM
I was in response to necro, but yeah. short-term wise, nothing spectacular for miami. just a few playoff appearances (and embarassments) from 99-00 season to 01-02?

Necromancer
11-24-2005, 02:12 PM
they suck even when they're winning was my point.

The Dolphins are one of the NFL's flagship teams just like the Cowboys and 49ers. The Fins have two superbowls and years of quality winning teams. Dan Marino is the greatest QB of all time IMO. It is unfair to blame him for not having a championship when he isn't the one in charge of playing defense.

Dead Nigga Storage
11-24-2005, 05:01 PM
you ain't allowed to brag about it if you weren't alive for it. give it up, fat man.

Curtis

the giants one. Guess what, I like the Giants. hahahahah

doyle
03-29-2007, 06:25 PM
really though, i watched super bowl xxv recently and despite the fact that buffalo was arguably the best team in the league that year (49ers may have been better), the giants most certainly outplayed them on that day. i also fail to see what was embarassing about that loss.

stupid bump

Dead Nigga Storage
03-29-2007, 06:27 PM
because it became the hallmark of their franchise's bitter past?

Spartan
03-29-2007, 06:42 PM
and this is coming from a franchise that has had the largest playoff lead before choking and that embarrassing (albeit unfair) choke on a kickoff return to lose yet another playoff game...

to the same embarrassing, horrible franchise.
