sic means 'like this, literally'. It is often used after quotes to indicate that, if there are spelling mistakes for example, this is not the mistake of the writer. It is often used ironically but mostly to indicate spelling or grammar mistakes coming from the person quoted.

oj simpson is a former football (american football) players. i believe he is in the hall of fame. he's also an actor (with fairly limited roles). in 1994, his ex-wife and her lover turned up dead in los angeles, and he was the prime suspect. despite overwhelming evidence proving he was guilty, a jury found him not-guilty, believing that there was a police conspiracy framed against him.

hate to bump this thread, but does anyone knowhow to separate artists on songs in iTunes?

for example, if the song is by A1 featuring A2, how can i get the song to appear in both A1's and A2's folder, without having a new artist called A1;A2 or A1/A2?

The only way you can make it appear in both folders is for it to be in both folders, i.e. have two copies of the song, one in each folder. Why you'd want to do that is beyond me.

by folder I mean the "artists" option when i'm browsing my iPod.
It's just so I don't have 4 artists when it's really just one featuring someone else.
Example (yet again):

Kanye West with Jamie Foxx- Slow Jamz

Song: Slow Jamz
Artist: Kanye West/Jamie Foxx.

^and when i look thru my iPod list of artists, it says:

Kaiser Chiefs
Kasabian
Kanye West
Kanye West/Jamie Foxx

You see, I don't want that.
Would be easier to just write the secondary artist into the song name, like:

Song: Slow Jamz w/Jamie Foxx
Artist: Kanye West.

i get it now. right click on the song in itunes and select "get info". change the artist's and song's name accordingly. then right click on the song again and copy it. then change the information of the duplicate song

well, i don't use iTunes, so i wouldn't know how exactly to explain it to you, but every mp3 file has encoded tags that have information about the file (artist, track title, album title, track number, etc) and you can go into that information and change it. therefore, you could change a file that has "Kanye West/Jamie Fox" as the artist to read simply "Kanye West" and then you could change the song title from "Gold Digga" to "Gold Digga (Feat Jamie Fox)" and you're problem would be solved.

I thought the waste from the planes DOES go to the ground. When you flush you can hear the air beneath and the noise from the engine is louder. If that is the case, I would hate to be on the other end of the flush.
And in all the trains I've taken a piss in the toilet of, the waste did go straight to the ground. That's why the toilets are locked if the train is stationary.

No. I asked my dad that a long time ago (he used to box) and he said that as long as the punch is legal, and the fight's still going on, then you can't be charged, because it's a risk both boxers take. I'm sure some people would have to look into it, however, to make sure that it was a legal punch and such.
