Good Evening,
I was pulled from a market research database I'm a member of a few weeks ago to attend a test-screening of the new upcoming Samuel L. Jackson film called Snakes on a Plane. The screening I attended was real sweet, and the movie started at 7:00 PM on August 29th. I looked at my watch when the movie started because it is my habit to look at it to see if theaters have started the movie on time, because alot of times they don't, and I usually wont get up to tell anyone if the movie is late. Snakes on a Plane had everything I usually like seeing in a movie of this calibur, it has Sameulel Jackson and he played a Police Officer. Snakes on a Plane had alot of action and it was realistic because there is a scene where Samuel L. Jackson, who plays a man named Sonny, talks about how you can't even shoot a gun on a plane because the hole would depressurize the cabin and everyone would suffocate. I liked that scene alot and it introduced Samuel's stun gun which plays an important role.
Snakes on a plane had everything like stun guns and it had alot of snakes. I'd like to take this opprotunity to talk about all the snakes and how the effects worked. When I saw the snakes they always looked real and I like how the snakes could fool the audience into thinking there were snakes in the theater with them.
Snakes On A Plane had alot of fighting and Sameul L. Jackson at this one time does a high kick to one of the snakes who the villian throws at him, and the snake bites onto his leg.
---------------------SPOILER ALERT----------------------------------------
At the end of Snakes on a Plane there is a showdown with the villian, who is also an assasin, and Sameul L. Jackson. Its really ironic because the villian becomes the victum of his own attack, which happened when he released snakes from the overhead compartment of the plane. Sameul L. Jackson picks up a Snake and he picks up another one with his left hand, and he makes the posinous snakes bite the assasin's neck.
---------------------END OF SPOILERS---------------------------------------
At the end of Snakes on a Plane, there were no credits because the man who showed it to me said it was still being worked out. There's a question the man asked us if we liked the title, which I do, but I thought maybe I could think of a more awesome one. So I suggested the title SAMEUL L. JACKSON's, SNAKE AIRLINE BLOODBATH. The man said he liked it and they would probably change the name to that.
Samuel L. Jackson's : Snake Airline Bloodbath: 3 out of 5 stars.

How is Pulp Fiction a cult movie? I'm not trying to mean or anything, but that movie got excellent reviews and is widely considered to be one of the greatest movies ever. Doesn't a cult film have to be more obscure and underrated?
rickey

I agree ASH.
Bot, a movie like Spinal Tap, Project A II, Blood In Blood Out, City of God, FLLV, or Five Easy Pieces would be considered cult films.
Pulp Fiction got built up with so much hype, people were going in with high expectations. Luckily it paid off.

"The Hollywood Reporter also says that Snakes on a Plane went back before the cameras this month for five days of additional shooting in Los Angeles. The film wrapped principal photography in September in Vancouver.
In this case, it wasn't the usual reshoot, hastily assembled to fix a nagging story problem. Instead, the studio decided to create new scenes that would take the movie from PG-13 into R-rated territory. The second round of filming also came about because of intense and growing fan interest in the movie.
When director David Ellis assembled Jackson and others for the recent shoot, the filmmakers added more gore, more death, more nudity, more snakes and more death scenes. And they shot a scene where Jackson does utter a line that fans have demanded.

FBI agents Neville Flynn (Samuel L. Jackson) and Sean Jones (Nathan Phillips) are tasked with escorting a witness, ex-mobster John Saunders (Mark Houghton), to a high-profile trial and to keep him safe from those who would do him harm. As the film's title suggests, however, an onboard assassin determined to rid the G-men of their precious cargo unleashes a crate full of venomous snakes in this taut airborne thriller.

New Line is well aware that this will be seen for camp value - they reshot it to have the "motherfucking snakes on the motherfucking plane" line, for instance, and for an R rating. I think they know how they'll make their money, and are just trying as much as possible to play up the camp fun within reason.

Pilot Finds Snake Stowaway Inside Cockpit
By Associated Press
Sat Jun 3, 6:47 AM
CHARLESTON, W.Va. - Monty Coles was 3,000 feet in the air when he discovered a stowaway peeking out at him from the plane's instrument panel: a 4 1/2-foot snake.
Coles was taking a leisurely flight over the West Virginia countryside in his Piper Cherokee last weekend and was preparing to land in Ohio when the snake revealed itself.
"Nothing in any of the manuals ever described anything like this," said the 62-year-old Cross Lanes resident.
But advice given 25 years earlier from his flight instructor sprung to mind: "No matter what happens, fly the plane."
Coles attempted to swat the snake but it fell to the pilot's feet, then darted to the other side of the cockpit.
While maintaining control of the single-engine plane with one hand, Coles grabbed the reptile behind its head with his other.
"There was no way I was letting that thing go," he said. "It coiled all around my arm, and its tail grabbed hold of a lever on the floor and started pulling."
The next step was to radio for emergency landing clearance.
"They came back and asked what my problem was," he said. "I told them I had one hand full of snake and the other hand full of plane. They cleared me in."
After a smooth landing, Coles posed for pictures with the snake, then let it loose.
"That snake resides in Ohio now," he said.
First review of SOAP:
www.aintitcool.com/display.cgi?id=23861
"Is the movie any good?
Yes.
Hell yes.
After having to sit through this year’s overproduced, bloated, pretentious studio product that desperately tries to disguise its B movie roots… finally here’s a movie that hunkers down to give the audience a shameless good time."
"“Snakes On A Plane” functions as both a competent thriller as well as a full-blown horror movie. "
"Simply put, this movie wouldn't work without “Sam The Man.” Even as the situation escalates beyond any semblance of reality, Jackson anchors this film with an unwavering performance.
Not once does he act like this flick is beneath him or is he playing “camp,” even when he takes an infamous request from the online community and delivers a line of exasperated dialogue that he'll inevitably be associated with for the rest of his life… Jackson is fully committed here."
"PIRATES, your records are dust. Don’t fight the wind which is... SNAKES ON A PLANE."

mine is just the old one (with the snakes twisted around the plane) with the tagline at the top. it's still cool to pass by it almost every day.

That poster looks so great. Keenan's the fat guy on the right, isn't he? Under a month to go now, I get reminded about it all the time, because I have the countdown screensaver on my PC.

"Sit back. Relax. Enjoy the Fright"
I couldn't think of a more appropriate tagline...
