Who is Sideshow Bob and why him?
Well, Sideshow Bob is a character from the Simpsons, who is voiced by Kelsey Grammer. And to be honest, he isn't even my all time favorite character. However, he is very cool and I have always liked him. He's that type of guy that you love to hate, and now that he is actual reformed, he's a guy that you just love.
How do you make your graphics and design this site?
Everything that you see here was made with Paint Shop Pro of some version (free demos for life!), Windows Notepad, and all uploaded with WS_FTP LE (which is totally free). I never did like those programs where you tell it what to do and it spits out HTML. Those are fine for beginners, but I've always liked using Notepad. As for Paint Shop Pro, it is a great program that can really do tons of stuff, so check it out if you are in need of a great graphics creator.
Didn't this site used to be The Sideshow Bob Gallery?
Yes. It started off as the Sideshow Bob Gallery back in 1996 as a tiny subpage on the Simpsons Simp-A-Rama [lets not open old wounds ;) ]. It gained its independence in 1997 and has gone through about 6 or 7 designs. Recently, however, I've decided that there wasn't much more I can/want to do with The Sideshow Bob Gallery. Sideshow Bob hadn't made another appearance on the show, and I pretty much had what I wanted. I figured that I couldn't just maintain the site by adding new games or "fun stuff." So, I decided to turn the SBG into an archive. An archive that wouldn't be updated, but rather would stick around for all the people who had yet to learn about Sideshow Bob. So after the Sideshow Bob Gallery had closed, the Sideshow Bob Archive opened for everyone to enjoy. [ Design #6'ish, Design #5'ish ]
Why is this site a subdomain of NoHomers.net?
Eric Wirtanen, the owner of NoHomers.net, has been one of my good friends since the beginning of my career on
the internet. Because of that, he hosted the Sideshow Bob Archive for free on the domain's server. And for that I thank him greatly.
Yes, yes you can. Feel free to download anything you want from this site. The only thing I ask in return is that
you give credit to the Sideshow Bob Archive if you use them on a webpage, but other than that, go for it.
